The RiO sales training programme held in December was organised with the intention of introducing dealers to the different aspects of marketing the RiO, with the primary purpose of understanding the market for RiO and the potential, prospective buyers of the vehicle. The training was divided into two parts. Day 1, i.e. December 3, 2012 detailed out the overall introduction, market analysis, competitor analysis, buying behaviour, discussion of features, and customer handling. Day 2, i.e. December 4, 2012 consisted of an explanation of the different promotional, sales-boosting schemes, role playing, a quick quiz, and certificate distribution. The overall objective of this training programme was to boost the confidence of the dealership’s sales executives and motivate them to do their best for the RiO. |
