Premier organises programmes to spread awareness about the importance of safety in a workplace.
This year, the safety week was celebrated from March 4 to 11. The week started with employees jointly taking the safety oath. Essay writing, poems and safety slogan competition were organised during the week. Some of the other programmes conducted during were body fat analysis for employees above 45 years, a training programme on stress management by Dr. Vilas Joshi, training on safety and fire fighting by M. D. Pawar and S. P. Jarhad.
A Chalta-Bolta programme on the shop floor to involve workers where a quiz was conducted to encourage employee interaction. Dr. Ajay Mehta from Jahangir Hospital was invited to talk on heart diseases and its preventive actions.
